CARE TIPS

To keep your Surf Rider bikini looking its best, follow these simple care instructions:

  • Since all Surf Rider Bikinis incorporate foam padding, be sure to use extra caution when traveling to prevent damaging the foam cups. If this does happen, lay the bikini flat for a couple of days and it should return to its original shape. You can also remove dents with light steaming (without touching the garment with the steamer).
  • When folding the bikini top, never fold the cups inside to inside, as this can damage and dent the cups. Instead, try sliding one cup under the other, making sure the pointy peaks are both facing up.
  • Never iron the bikini with heat, as this may damage the garment.
  • Avoid sitting directly in the sand, as the fine particles can get inside the fibers and damage the fabric.
  • Avoid sitting on top of sharp rocks, as this can snag the fabric.
  • Pen marks can be removed with an application of rubbing alcohol and very gentle rubbing in the same direction as the grain of fabric.
  • Light oil stains can be removed by dusting baby powder on top of the stain and leaving the garment to sit with powder on top, which will absorb the stain. Gently dust off at the end.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Proper care of your Surf Rider bikini can make a huge difference in how long it lasts. Follow the care tips below to get the most out of your swimwear.
  • Always rinse your Bikini after use. Salt water and chlorine chemicals are very harsh on the fabric and can reduce the lifespan of your swimwear.
  • For the best care, hand wash your bikini with cold water and mild detergent. Squeeze by hand. Lay flat to dry.
  • You can also machine wash with cold water and mild detergent. Wash light and dark colors separately. Lay flat to dry.
